Why Scorpeo? Why Scorpeo's Web?

Well, when I was younger, I really liked the music group "Scorpions" and so did a co-worker. We called ourselves "Scorp 1" and "Scorp 2". I am not quite sure how the name changed from Scorp2 to Scorpeo, but when it came time for me to get a screen name on AOL, Scorpeo was it. I guess I still wanted to keep my nickname, but it was taken, so I chose Scorpeo (I thought "eo" instead of "io" would prevent people from thinking I was a scorpio (I'm a pisces), but I was mistaken. Oh well, that's what I get for choosing a sign for a screen name.

I did think Scorpeo's Web would be better than Scorpeo's ... Place, Website, Arena, etc. My interests are varied, and for some reason, I felt compelled to share my interests with everyone. I am the spider in the center of "Scorpeo's Web", and each web represents some interest of mine. I originally had a small site just about me and my pets, but I kept finding other stuff I wanted to put up. I finally decided to purchase a web domain and paid hosting, and chose Aletia Hosting. I waited too long to reserve Scorpeo.com, so had to improvise a little on the domain name.

I do lots of "surfing" the web, for various reasons. I like seeing other peoples' interests and looking at different websites. I like to see how these people present their information. If I like the way it's presented, I find a place to put a link to it on my website. I don't have all the links I have in my bookmarks on the website (waaaay to many), but I put most of the ones I have that relate to my active interests.

This website will always be under construction, as most web sites are. Unless something major happens to an individual site, I will keep the link here somewhere. I am always interested in finding new links, and if you think your site would interest me, PLEASE send me a link.

Also, I try to make this site look good. If you have any constructive criticism, please feel free to drop me a line and say so. I try to keep this site easy to navigate, and relatively low on graphics to make it quick to load ... but I love to play with Photoshop, and sometimes feel compelled to upload new graphics/pictures (especially of my pets).
